The First Strike team is still deciding if we're going to include the droids as player control objects or not. I'll update you once I have an answer for you.

I would like it maybe just for the fighters tho. I remember in gc u could get in the x-wing and
y-wing as r2d2 and repair it in flight.

Yes you could in GC. We know what you're talking about we just haven't decided if it'll be in GC. It's not that we can't do it, it's if we want to do it.

Why dont u want to do it. I think its really good to add becuase u see it in the movies. I for one want it.

Well it's not logical. You see the X-Wing can only support one person. So you can't have two people in the starfighter. Not to mention the fact that having a human become a droid is silly. That was a problem with GC.
