Topic: Rise of Kobol...

Ok, I tried this mod out called "Rise of Kobol" and I have to say... No offense to them... but it's probably the worst mod I have ever played in my life. Now, this is where my question comes in.. Will First Strike's aerial flight simulation thingy be as bad as Rise of Kobol? The flight in that game was really pathetic and weak... not any fun at all because it's so hard to control. Like I said, will FS be somewhat like that?

If not, please.. stay away from all aspects of that game... or you will lose everything tongue!

It isn't a mod. It's a demo or open Beta, that's not their first release.

I haven't tried Rise Of Kobol, I'm sure they'll try tweak their controlls though to please the audience if there's a need for it. the balance between too easy and too hard is fine, since it's a good thing that good pilots are better pilots in the mod obviously but not so that basically none can fly them.

Anyway we'll do our best to get the flight physics as good as we can, it's not THAT easy really you must remember smile

i have a great 0G thing from warp we had internal tests on a few months back. i'm going to test ROK and see the difference.

make it hard flights. so only the true pilots can take down the death star =p

i tried to DL ROK but it wasnt working for some strange  reason... only one i have is USI and i cant even get into a game! i will DL it soon and take a look big_smile

The flight system looked good from the videos, oh well.

Will FS have this type of style of flying or will it stick to what GC had?
