*Finale SPOILERS ahead...


woah , just watched the double finale and thought it was excellent. Pity Desmond sacrifised himself as i thought he was a good character , but his story kinda wraps up pretty well. The whole part about Desmond being responsible for the plane crash was cool.

You shoulda seen my face when it all went haywire , Knowing I was on the right track with the whole electromagnetism etc . smile

Was interesting to see the rock statue on the beach which only had 4 toes.


Loved every minute of the 2 episodes . The ending was puzzling. My 1st thought was that she was looking for Desmond but it seems she's monitoring island ....... who knows?


The twist with the hatch was cool , we ,the viewer , kinda went along the same journey as Locke with the hatch. Believing , not believing , then finding out it was real.

I believe Michael will come to the rescue of Jack , Kate and Sawyer with the helping hand of 'super Walt' sometime next season.



Iv heard rumours that Lost will run for 3 seasons, 4 seasons and 5 seasons. Not sure what it is officially but with the ending of season 2 Iv got a hunch it will be 3 seasons ( sad ) . It seemed kinda an after thought , or a late addition to compact the series a little. I may be way off base ....probably down to me not knowing what it was all about big_smile

WOW yes amazin 2 episodes

Bandu u missed out the interesting bit about the green bird that screeched Hurleys name. Their guns didnt work against it.  Could this be a warning, is this Libby? reincarnated trying to warn him.

the island has the power to heal, but does it have the power to reincarnate.


Why were all those tubes full of journals in the middle of a field, i know they came from "the pearl" observation station...but why were they disregarded and left there un-opened.

What about the toe statue, i mean what the hell!!!

Why have they taken, jack, sawyer and kate. what is that about, they are three main characters to us. But why pick those particular three ppl?

They seemed to give alot away in these 2 episodes, alot of movement suddenly, im glad about that...i dont want it dragging on for ten seasons! I also think the writers have to keep it moving because so many actors will get tired of sticking around so long and fear getting typecast and will leave, this will effect their control on the story line.

JUST BRING THE NEXT ONE ON!!!! which is?

As for the others

i dont think they are rogue scientists anymore, not in a black and white sense

i think they are a completely different race, an ancient race, a lost culture. There is that piece of foot statue that looks at least 2000 years old.

They could have taken over the human form of the scientists who initially arrived on the island for genuine purposes of experimentation.  Some incidents occured that unlocked the gates of releasing this ancient civilisation and brought them back, but without bodies, thats why there are all those whispering voices in the jungle, they are without "hosts".

Maybe that is why they are taking jack, sawyer and kate, they are strong and physically fit. Prime candidates to be hosts.

I have no idea how this theory links in with their attraction for taking children.

Ok we just found out that they are normal people but one of them went undercover with the other half of the plane as we found out last night, he gave the "others" info on the "good people" to take and the women(leader of tail plan, forgotten her name) finds out and talks to him then she fights the undercover other and stabs him. But they are just normal people that speak english and have a good knoledge of things, they even try to lure them to a place by sending out a radio signal to them pretending they are the other survivors. Why are they taking people? Why are they taking the "Good People"? What do they want? What are they doing to the taken people? Its so exciting cant wait till next tuesday!
