Sorry to bring up an old post, but I was looking for anything about a First Strike IRC channel. 

It seems that there is a #first-strike on Quakenet, as well as #firststrike on gamesurge.  Quakenet seems to be an actually mantained channel (ie, a bot in it), however, it sems #firststrike is the official IRC channel? 

Either way, one should be decided on as to which is official, otherwise there would be little chance of much of the community coming together to talk wink

Both channels show inactivity, though, so I'm not quite sure which one to join.

I am almost always in the channel and seem to be the only one in there. If it shows inactivite then IDLE!

I've never heard of the quake-net channel. Who the heck runs that one? smile anyways, gamesurge is the official channel
