lol so u guys still wont work together on one mod?
plus, no offence but u guys r also very low on the rankings and not many really post on ur site even tohugh its only in french.

Its not a case of both dev teams wont work together. Its just there is room for both. Maybe sometime a server could play both mods ...that would be cool.

Empire Rising havent been going very long so its not gonna be hig up in the rankings . Rankings is nice but having low rankings doesnt mean the mod will be bad.

I for 1  with them luck cos ,even tho I prefer the classic star Wars saga, im sure to be a little peckish for some clone action sometime smile

IF Empire Rising eventually disbands youd be more than welcome to apply to join First Strike . Dont take that the wrong way , im not trying to steal you wink ... im just saying , in reality, getting a Star Wars mod released is a hard job and takes time ( we all know of Star Wars mods not materializing ) , more than any other kind of mod.

The same goes for the other guys from Empire Rising.

I disagree entirely with this; the star wars fan base is fairly small as it is, then you have to remember that only the starwars fans with bf2 can play, personally I don't think there is room. Thats why I've been pro-merge since we discovered them about a month ago. Time spent playing ER is time not spent playing FS and Time spent playing FS is time spent not playing ER. Plus with the two mods working together, the release should be far sooner. This is just my opion, but I believe it is the most logical one. Anyway this is a discussion for the Dev forum and the two Mods on MSN, not here.
