I cant believe there is no thread on the World Cup!?  mad

Well, the most pretiguous sporting tournament on the planet has got 1 now smile

Just watched the Germans beat Costa Rica 4-2 in the opening game.  I dont think Germany will win it but you can never right them off fully...especially with it being held in Germany. Theres far better teams out there like  Brazil , France, England, Argentine, Italy.Portugal,Holland.... even the USA team is better.



Obviously the favourites are Brazil but Im gonna stick my neck and say we will win it smile  (England)  aslong as Rooney is match fit. IMO the best player on the planet.

Im hopin for an England - Germany final . That would be sweet.

My outside bet would be USA if they get thro the group stage..... however I really hope they dont win it cos most US people dont care about football.

Rooney's leg is improving and he should be able to play in the knockout stages(maybe), and holy squeezey pooh Arron Lennon is so fast!!!
