One problem for this idea, at least as far as Hoth is concerned, is that on Hoth, all of the "snow" that you're seeing in the battle around the trenches was part of a large glacier.  I don't know how many of you have walked on a glacier, but the snow is compacted so hard that it feels like ice, rough ice, not like frozen pond ice, but ice that is jagged and treacherous (it'll cut you up if you trip and fall on it).

A good idea, but maybe not so ideal for the Hoth map.

Here comes Arc to save the day...               Since this snow can't be on slopes, perhps instead of everywhere, it could be confined to several different much smaller, snow drifts on a few of the flat areas? Put them in areas that are most likely to have an effect on combat (a bit in front of the trenches, 'pot' wholes by the imps etc.) an urgood.

The main battlefield wont be completly flat (at leat it shouldn't be). Even though it's a 'flat' area of the battlefield, the can still be differences between 10-15 feet (3-5 meters)

one thing that i wonder is that when the at at and the at st walks don't that produce so much heat so the feets get hot? one idea i got on this was that could ya add some kinda a water gun to some vechiles lik at st so that if they are hunted by cars and that the driver or someone else could start a steam animating of steam comming out of the feets(or wheels) so that the ground did become like a swamp but only after that veichle and it disappered when the veihcle is destroyed that could also work on hoth if it was an automatic weapon so like arch said the snow would get some snow drifts

Firstly, use some full stops, commas. Easier to read.

Secondly, I'm no coder, but I know enough to say that would be INCREDIBLY hard to code.

Ok, is it not true that when a vehicle TOUCHES a drip of water in bf, it begins to explode? If an AT-ST or AT-AT walks over one of these things... BOOM!  I don't know if they have patched that or anything, but it just wouldn't work with having vehicles ect.

Naw they're fine until the viechle gets too deep. Haven't u ever played taht foggy swampy map in bf2? You can drive ur jeeps an hummers through the shallows with no prob.
