Topic: Titan Mode for FS

Are objectives in BF2 like they were in BF1942? I don't own the game (yet) and don't know. But if so or if it can be coded in, can the capital ships have objectives like consoles and reactor cores like those found in the upcoming Titan game mode? Where if one is destroyed another objective is activated.

So what I am asking is can the FS team create their own brand of the Titan mode?

The game includes no objective mode standard with the basic game, however looking through some of the other mods, I believe that it would certainly be possible trigger events rather then have objectives, although the events may have to be tied to a control point flag in some way to work appropriately.

Though, this is from a very generic outlook, and I'm completely unsure if it is possible to successfully implement an objective system, and if it is possible, I have no clue as to how it would be gone about doing.

A complete un-modified version of BF: 2 will have the same flag conquest mode that BF: 1941 does. But, as stated above me, mods are capable of using events and triggers. Although it isn't exactly what you are talking about, this team has produced a building with multiple triggers, which was discussed in another forum post.
