This makes sense... Titan mode could be a corvette vs carrack (or any other capital ship), ion cannons could be made with EMP damage, at-sts ect would be mechs, shadow troopers could get a cloaking device, that floating drone thing could be some sort of droid, and the mech's active defence (shield) could be given to the rebel hover tank now that there is a hover system, or maybe starfighters? There are many possibilities that the BF2 engine just doesnt do. This will also likely make it the first mod out for 2142, that means everyone will play it.

Yeah surely its a good idea to move, but what would you say about a little BF2 release smile? With one or two maps and a couple of vehicles, weapons, and characters. Just a little Demo?! And if you don't like this idea, please...PLEASE give us updates until the BF2142 release!!! At least 1 /week!!! I need my daily dose of First Strike big_smile !!!

Yea , there sure is a heck of alot of goodness in bf2142 that we can utilize to make this ,hopefully, the best Star Wars interpretation in game form smile .

As for a demo on Bf2 . We did discuss this ,and while we would have liked to bring the mod out 1st for BF2 and then port and continue on BF2142 , we decided to just go all out and make all the models/skins for the 1st release (4 maps) for Bf2142.

We figured why release a rushed , half finished version on bf2 when bf2142 isnt far away.

Maybe I could help you texturing some objects? Nothing big, no vehicles, buildings or persons, just little objects like rocks big_smile
or grenades or something like this!
