Topic: Pretty sad...

Yes, it 's really sad that you're going to 'postpone' it til the next release. As you can tell, I haven't been the biggest fan here, I have like 10 posts... but I do come and check the site for updates. Now, finding this 'latest' update is quite a shock. Seems a bit sloppy if you ask me. Other mods have done well, why can't you? I think it's just because you all aren't ready... not because of the limited stuff you can do. First you lie to us and say it'll be done by march.. Then you lie and say it'll be done near what? The end of the summer... I dunno. Now, it's 'never'. Good way to make a start. You're exactly like DICE/EA. Good job, as I'm not going to wait 2 years just to play this game. What a good waste of time you put into this mod... and giving up on it.

Sorry, but you are an idiot!!! Have you ever made a mod? you cannot say it will be ready in this month, they are no professional gameprogrammers (i think)!! And I want to have a good mod, no mod filled up with bugs or anything else that lets this mod really suck!!! Who said it will 'never' come out, or that they give up?

YES it is for the best interest! BF2 is a war game. based on modern situations! we are a sci fi mod! and the new stuff 2142 is offering to too good to turn down!

i think you should relook over 2142 and not speak before thinking...

sorry to sound harsh to the fans but no one offends my team.. and we are not giving up!

For me the biggest disappointment is that there will not be even a first release on BF2, without the walkers, cloak suits or whatever else 2142 may bring....

I know enough of the engine that 2142 and BF2 share that it would be relatively easy to release a smaller mod on BF2, nixing the advanced features 2142 allows.

Just a disappointment to wait a year for something, only to find you will be waiting at least another year, and have to pay 50 bucks as well.

Imagine if Episode III were delayed a year, and the ticket prices now cost 50 dollars more. But they promised more space battle and wookiee scenes as a result. Its still a disappointment.
