Good idea ArchAngel! Your idea can be found in Star Trek: Elite Forces II. You have to use your tricorder to solve puzzels to pass doors, etc.  You interconnect with that computer and manipulate it in a different view (you view the entire computer monitor instead of normal 1st person). I would love to see something like this implimented.

What about that R2 unit thing.... Thats 100% possible in BF2.. It is probably possible in 2142 as well... It would be really cool... Just like Extract in Project reality, except with R2 instead.
