Yeah beta, not demo. Don't listen to the people who are saying that only people who own bf2 will be able to play the beta, IT'S AN OPEN BETA! DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT AN OPEN BETA IS! And there's absotively nothing but speculation on the exact date when the beta is going to be released, all we know is beginning of august, meaning august 1-10.... but I know I'm going to be staying up late and clicking refresh every 10 seconds on a bunch of different pages.

You don't have to go to the store if you order online.

Whoa there Ramseus. I never gave an exact date. Just as you said, it's a rumor, which I already stated in my last post that ArcAngel quoted. And you don't need to use caps either. I was wrong. And I do know what an open beta means. I went back and I checked my emails regarding the veteran program and I got it mixed up:

"DICE is pleased to announce that we will be rewarding our loyal BF2 community by giving them exclusive benefits for enlisting with Battlefield 2142 when it comes out this October."

Gosh.

And I didn't mention a thing about ordering online either.
