If you have noticed DICE dosn't exactly go by real life tongue If you want to be picky on the Javelin and such, might as well almost every single gun/class in BF2 in one way or another.

huh? this post and the following ones seems to indicate you think Im talking about a sidearm or something. I was tlaking about the (as archangel said) Javelin AT rocket. Ive seen videos and pictures of them and they look almost exactly like the ones in BF2. except they are pretty much self guided, though the TWO man team that fires them needs to first designate the target and such.

I guess you could say the bf2 one is some sort of step up in common technology, but look at the size of the missle holder on the guys back! He would (logicaly) have only one missle. The only smart way to use a wireguided missle is when you can see the target, so why not give the soldier a few unguided rockets (that take up less space and are cheaper)?

anyways...we all know how "ballanced" and "diverse" the bf developers like there games to be...at the price of well, EVERYTHING!!!

hahaha I just saw it as a joke. Damnit I feel dumb now... I really thought there that you were talking about sort of pistol called a javelin. especially since the first time I mentioned it I hadnt said what it was.
