Unlocks are great. They add longevity and variaty to an online game ,and that can only be good.

People will always act "noobishly" online. People will always stat pad aslong as there is a leader board (I dont like or dislike the leaderboard). Nothin to do with new weapons.

One of the top reasons I dont play BF2 is because of unlocks. I dont play it all the time, so everyone has a better chance of killing me. That makes me play it less.

I dont play BF2 all the time ..in fact i didnt play it for about 7 monthes after I bought it ( i played for about a month , then stopped)  .

I have no problems with killing ( or being killed) with the standard weapons or the unlocks. Theres no real difference in them.

Probably the real reason why some people have a better chance of killing you is because they are better? ...due to playing more. The unlockables are not super guns lol .

i prefur the basic medic gun than to the "better unlocked" gun

umm no the unlockable weapons ARE better. No doubt, it even says on in the game they are more accurate, and do more damage than the standard ones. Its a FACT they are better.

well either way , some default weapons are better. They all have strangths and weaknesses.

Unlocks are the best addition to online games since Squads.

More unlocks the better! big_smile

Still, for more casual gamers, account setup should feature an option for "Skip the paddle/arty grinding and use all the weapons in the game"

because the fact is the weapons DO have separate strengths and weaknesses (however retarded these may be) and I enjoy picking a weapon specifically for the situation ahead.
