Two to three minutes in a battle goes by awfully fast. Maybe make it a little longer in my opinion. I'd say five to six minutes would be better since it wouldn't disrupt too much gameplay and it would make it more valuable to the commander to save that ability for when he really needs it.

Yes i was thinking the same thing, 3 minutes feels like 3 seconds in BF2, I agree with 5 minutes. Thats gonna go by fast too, but i think it will be better.

Seriously, though, people need to step back and take it easy.  There's one tech demo of some unskinned TIE Bombers and we're wondering if the solar panels will be affected by the sun orientation on ground maps and whether that will affect your top speed.

Next thing they'll be wondering if the buttons on the dashboard of the speeder bike will negatively affect gameplay and will need tweaking to a different colour.

Im not going to say I will eat something(that taste bad)if somebody do this or do that...
But if a group of people is going to "make a star wars mod for bf2" and if that group manage to get it "out before first strike is for 2142 " and dont switch development of said mod I can do this.I can say to that group of people that they earned my Respect  Gratitude and Admiration

if a said group was to make a star wars mod for bf2, they would realize that the chicken walker code would look like a duck waddling. also said group would probally give up completely and not look for alternatives to the duck walkers

also if said group was to make a mod for bf2, that was actually up to standards to what the community expected, then i would also congratulate them, and mostly likely download it and play it
