the devil didnt play bf2 because of all the crap in it. he complained to his slaves at the top of EA games company. the head guys get whipped, then they realize they can make money and applease there dark overlord
thus bf2142 is born

Lol, what did ea ever do to you? You should have played the demo first, they gave you a chance to see what bf2 would be like before you bought. Hardly a scam.

but the demo played alot better than the actual game.
better performance, less lag, less memory taken up ask any one the demo was better than the actual game

The only thing EA/Dice messed up on was some of the patches.

They got rid of Dolphin diving ,which was good, but then put it back in . Also the server crashes are really annoying etc

The Demo for BF2 ran like a Dream on my computer, I ran it with settings medium and High. by the time weve got to the 1.3 patch, ive had to turn view distance down, to 90% and alot of settings are now at low, with none of them on high.

Patches should improve performance, not make it worse.

Implimenting tier 2 unlocks really jacked up the memory useage of bf2. They said that they would have liked to get all the guns from SF/the boosters but couldn't because of the ridiculous amount of memory it would use. It was an effect of RES (retarded engine syndrome), so hopefully one of the engine fixes they made in 21 is something about that, since they designed the game with lots of unlocks to begin with.
