hey old school gc people.

i have been inactive for along time.
i heard a rumour that the original galactic conquest team was joining this FS mod team. also it mentions it on the main page of this site here so it must be more than a rumour lol
anyway i was wondering just who exactly from the old gc team are on board and also wondering who was around of the original gc forum.
i really miss those old days, made alot of friends (and enemies lol meshwars)
and i cannot emphasize how much fun i had with the community and the devs of gc.
if i can have half as much fun around these forums and with this mod as i did with gc, then it would be worth me hanging around here.

Decepticon! Long time no seen. It is me, Tulkas! Your favorite dutchman smile. I am one of the many old GCers who have made the jump to FS (apart from still regularily playing GC big_smile) and there are many others. I kind of miss the old days too, us GCers formed a pretty close comunity and it was great fun

I'm hoping im going to find this mod just as fun as, or maybe even more fun than, good old GC

Well, ofcourse, im here smile Been here since the early days and was on the team but i was lazy :S It is always nice seeing the old faces come back. But hey dont forget your not supporting GC guys, your supporting First Strike smile,Which were promised will be a whole different experience to GC.

So i say if it turns out otherwise, we should set our ewok homies upon the evil devs big_smile

Dirtylowmofo, Django, Luuri, Myself, Woodrow, MUAHAHAHA (Aka Rob), and possibly jay and suge might make an appearence tongue

Wrafes right though, This is First Strike, and First Strike is going to wipe the floor with GC's pie I can almost guarentee it big_smile

The Teams are gelling together realy nicely, and I feel like I've worked with Xero and blitz and the guys for years, there so cool tongue (you only get that out of me once haha)

Respect to them, cos they litteraly had my jaw drop to the ground when I saw the work this team had done.

I only checked in on teh mod on a sparse basis, and from the beginning until now, the amount of work effort, detail, and both planning and commitment to quality just astounded me.

this team rocks!

P.S. my spelling of T-H-E is still terrible, and my overall grammer and Spelling is poor also. tongue

Of course! This is FS, not GC but it's good to relive the memories and be together again ;-). I am getting just as excited about this mod as I was about the GC mod, and I might even buy 2142 just to play this mod big_smile

I saw the title to this and thought oh no not mesh again. Anyway good to see you decep not sure if you member me i helped on Saving Prvt preacher a bit. Yeah anyway FS looks great theres tones of stuff they can do with BF 2142 then 1942 like having decent walker units and stuff. The guys who started out this project look like they were doing a great job and with the guys coming over frm gc it looks like its going to be even greater.

PS if anybodys wondering why i haven't been on IRC recently well something blew up in my comp and its being fixed (bloody lightning) anyway hope to see ya all soon (using my dads laptop atm smile
