I choose the BF series because of the freedom. And all the different vehicles. Mostly the freedom.

Teamwork to me is your squad being diverse, everyone knowing the task, working together, and making necesary sacrifice to get the job done.

My ideal gamemode is an assualt mode, like D-day type stuff, I just love it. Having to destroy key objectives would fall in as #2.

Re: Gamemode poll

Ok mine are kind of odd, so bear with me tongue :

1. Why do you as a gamer choose the bf series over other games?

I may be alone on this, but I chose the BF Series because of a certain Popular Star Wars mod I saw featured on the TV show 'X-Play'.  The freedom mentioned before was evident, but also the Detail and feel of the different ships caught my eye.  I'd never seen anyone else get it that right.   The ability of the game engine to deliver this, and the freedom of the player to go and do as he pleased - I went out and picked up a copy the next day.

2. Define what team work means to you.

Cooperation between players, no matter the skill, to achieve the set goal.  Newbie, Vet or whatever... They should be feel like they're making a contribution to the team effort.  Having a good squad leader/ Commander and a simple, intuitive communication system will make this possible.

3. Describe your ideal gamemode.

For me there is no Ideal.  having an objective other than just 'shoot the enemy' is a given. And  I've been intrigued by the new types mentioned in connection with this game.  I guess I enjoy anything that encourages teamwork.

Edit:  Oops, went way over 25 words didn't I?  Sorry, missed that part. tongue
