Hmm, wouldnt that possibly like cause crap loads of lag? haha, seeing like 9 tie fighters coming down, and swooping down...

Because not everyone has exceptional computers, and I remember before i got an upgrade.. the artillery lagged me whenever it struck...

Its simple, orbital bombardment. Remember in Battlefront who you could send out a scout droid and call down Oribital Strikes? Well, why not use that?

I agree with ICPO, orbital bombardment is the most plausible form of artillery (thats what the big ol turbolasers on star destroyers are for), and I think it would be cool.  As for the TIEs and Y-Wings idea, I think it would be cool, but difficult if not impossible to implement because I don't think the artillery function in BF:2 would allow that.

orbitural or how ever you spell it lol lol i suck at spelling

orbitural strike... works like artillary maybe a different design instead of bombs coming down. but have it like lasers and such. And with the upcoming patch with visable UAV will we even be seeing those types of things in first strike? and if so what kind of vehicle would be there to scan? or ground vehicle...
