hmm that cant be true, You never played GC? You schould really install bf1942 then GC and play it with your mod m8s!

I understand that you want your own map design ... but you could play it just to inspire yourseld a little bit...nobody says that we want exactly this maps! But some gameplay styles(Judicator) or ideas are really great ! Just test it and you will see what i mean.

I don't realy want to reply to this thread lol.

But basically, First Srike is it's own mod, The old GC devs joining want to help Make First Strik Not GC2, We will give the benefit of our experience where it's needed etc, but we aim to push the envelope forward, and push the 2142 engine to it's limits, surpassing anything done in the past.

The FS devs have had to put up with Alot of GC did this, GC did that etc, for a long time, and each time they have tried to tell everyone it's a new game and has nothing to do with the GC team. I can see how the old GC team joining has pehaps Raised these questions again, however it still has nothing to do with teh GC team, because the old GC members are members of First Strike now, so it's entirely 100% First Strike team, if you catch my drift.

Seriously though, no-one needs to play GC to inspire them to make a Star Wars mod, aint there enough content out there already ? lol like... only 6 films wink

Oh i am not insinuating that you are hurting the teams morale lol. Don't think that at all, I was just wanting to point out, the letters G and C make some people's eyes twitch like chief inspector Dreyfuss from pink panther whenever they mention closeu (SP?)

BTW I see so many "Brits" among the FS Devs. Is there a good chance that the "offical" server is going to be a British one.
I am from Germany but I try to avoid German servers because I do not really like the flair on German servers. Englishmen are much more polite and relaxed in comparison that is why I prefer British servers smile
