It took PoE2 about 13 months to complete and it was considered the first complete transformation mod to BF2.  And even THEN, it was still the same genre.  You are talking about here, is making complete new world landscapes and craft.  You need some mighty talented and imaginitive people to pull that off.  I hope you can get it out quick, I'm just saying that PoE had 22 devs and a solid 65 testers up until the last 6 weeks of development.  Another 120 stress testers were brought in at that point to fill the servers so we could make sure they were stable.

Don't quote me on these numbers, but they should be close.  Again, I was just a full tester, not a PoE Dev.

POE is an excellent MOD. With some very talented people behind it. We are a CORE TEAM and trying very hard to replicate what we feel will both a playable game and true to the genre.

I´ve been playing POE2 today, and had a lot of FUN!

What comes to the ideal release date..

Aha! A blackwhole massive enough to bend time and space is all I need to reach such a date and time! That should be simple enough to obtain. Ahahahah!

I don't know I think it's a copy available to play just before the release, sort of a demo (likly one map and stuff) but they just offered it to me if i preordered.
