Just curious, xEROhOUR. How do you have the logistics figured out for starfighter take off and landing? Is it accelerate and slow down lik in the GC mod? Or do you have something a little more complex like a take off and land button? Kind of like Battlefront. I personally like that idea of having an ignition for the engines, the craft lifts from the ground then takes off (after landing skids retract of course).

On a side note, I noticed that you have the X-wing marked as being able to carry four proton torpedoes when it actually carries six.

Please forgive me. I don't mean to come off as an arrogant know-it-all. I don't know everything and I'll be the first to tell you if I don't know something. It's the perfectionist in me that wants to come out, lol.

Ok I did recieve the email thankyou. That is now in the Lore dept waiting checking.
Im not hot on Lore, I know a fair bit but you seem to know, maybe you should be on the Team.

For those questions about flight physics thats SCHRIfles domain best ask him dude. smile

Re: X-Wing Y-Wing

There's space open in the Lore department?  Cool!  That and beta-testing are the only two things I can really do and I really wanna help with the mod.

Re: X-Wing Y-Wing

Thanks, xEROhOUR. That's encouraging. I'd love to be a technical consultant for Star Wars lore, but I don't know how I'd fit it into my schedule. I love studying this kind of stuff just for the fun of it. lol.

In reply to Andrew_Kirk_25, I know what you mean. I just meant the maximum payload for the X-wing's proton torpedoes.

Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.

Re: X-Wing Y-Wing

On the take off and landing note, I really think you guys should try to stick to how GC applied the landing repulsors (don't stone me the 'G' word had to be used!) as they work perfectly and a skilled operator can do some pretty neat stuff. Also this is just a opinion, and probally a minority one at that, but i always hated the take off an landing scheme in battlefront.

Re: X-Wing Y-Wing

Wait, the "G" key? What's that? Don't tell me I've been flying on Death Star this whole time and I didn't even know there was a button for landing.

SCHRifle is currently working on the takeoff and landing issues.  Last time I worked with him he wanted there to be a separate key for takeoff and landing, and I agree with him, though I get the point about the Battlefront frustrations.  We'll let you know what we come up with in a future update.
