If i'm not mistaken, you can modify weapons and for the stat bonuses then, perhaps you can give the weapons as a bonus ()you would get the stats).

Only infantry weapons. not on starfighters, I'm afraid.

I do belive (I have only modded on Battlefield 2) that the indvidual vehicles have weapon listings, maybe one nations weapon for standard and the others for upgrade.
