A-Wing - the insane speed was always great fun in XWA. Also the challenge - getting hit was a bad thing, so it took a lot of skill.

but id have to say the Y wing with a Rear turret gunner is a bad arse ship! great for assaults and evading  enemy fire from many angles.

how many FS DEVS have played the Tie Fighter games for the computer?
they got evreything just right in those games!

PieWalker, the Z-95 wasn't even on the list and you know it.  That's just ridiculous, it's like writing in a candidate's name in a presidential election...well...not really, but whatever.  I don't really consider the Z-95 as a rebel starfighter, but decide what you will.

As for the TIE Fighter games, I have to agree with Renwood, they were amazing.  I started out with X-Wing, and then played TIE Fighter, and I've just recently started playing XWA.  Good stuff there.
