Topic: R2-D2 going down stairs...

Ha!!  I knew I didn't imagine it!

" Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope - Floating Artoo
When Luke, Obi-Wan, C3-P0 and Artoo first enter the docking bay where the Melinnium Falcon is docked, they walk down a flight of stairs. You can see Artoo, who clearly cannot negotiate stairs, behind the others, pivoting around like he's walking down the steps. If you look closely you see that he is floating completely off the ground and twisting to make it look like he's walking down the steps. He's either being pivoted on some kind of stand or hanging by cords. It's pretty funny looking."

Anyone else remember seeing this scene?  I don't see it in any of the TV broadcasts of late. tongue

Re: R2-D2 going down stairs...

If I may, I have another mistake that they made. (I found this myself as I watch the movie almost every day ;I have it on a sleep timer while I go to sleep;)(and no, I am not a nerd, I just sleep well with it on, it calms me)Well at any rate, In Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, when the probe droid returns to Darth Maul, it's shadow is to the right of where it should be. In the VHS version. (Most likely the format/version doesn't matter)

Hmm, another Episode I'd like to see again.

Well, if anyone knows which version I can find this scene in I'd appreciate it.   smile

Re: R2-D2 going down stairs...

He might not be able to walk down stairs very well but he has saved EVERY hero in the starwars films in some way.
