Topic: Will I be able to...

both play First Strike and Battlefield 2142? Like if I was to host a server, could it have both FS maps and 2142 maps? Or does there have to be different servers and everyone in my clan has to download the mod to go on the specific servers? Thanks.

Hi, WELCOME to the forums!

You CAN play both maps on a rotation to my knowledge, but between switching from FirstStrike and Battlefield: 2142, the server would have to restart to load the mod, everyone would lose connection, and you wouldn't have a server player base.

I thought some talented community members got around to fix that for bf2, so it's likely they'll have the fix for bf2142 as well.

I know in 1942 you could change mods in the rotation. It wasn't like that in BF2??
