The prequels: Crap directing leading to crap acting from actors who (most of them at least) are usually good. Crap writing/dialogue, seriously every second line in ep III was some bastardism of a line from the OT or some grade 2 writing comprehension level foreshadowing. Stupid choices of CG over RL, eg. the clone troopers (when fully geared and helmetted) were ALL CG! The annie/padme love plotline was far too drawn out, it takes up 1/3 of ep II, has no real substance, and is written too poorly to even be worthy of a afternoon soap. Overall the PooTrilogy try to be too dramatic and completely lose the Star Wars feel (other than the visuals and music).

Although I did like some small bits. R2 and 3P0 are still the couple of goofballs they always were (+1), the comedifying of the droids and other baddies in ep III did lessen the "ooh look at me I'm such a dramatic movie you have to watch me and give me money" atmosphere somewhat (+0.5). And a huge kudos to ILM for the visuals (+1), they're like alchemists, created something out of nothing... that something was something to see, and the nothing was what the rest of the movie was worth. Totalling a +2.5 good, and like a -5 000 002.5 bad.

I think it would be good if they made 7,8,9, the Thrawn trilogy and brought the movie canon up to a place where the Empire is defeated, the New Jedi Order is going good and the Republic is fine, kinda like before the Vong wars.

The Thing I didn't like about Eps 3 was as people say how short the action was it was like "Oh we get to see wookies fight some droids now this is what i want to see not some bloody frogs fighting them" 10 sec's later it cuts it goes back you just see chewbacca blow up a ship yoda get shot at. Then its like wow there a robot that uses 4 light sabers and is going to fight obi-wan 5 sec's later obi-wan chops of 2 of his arms then it goes into some sort of car case that only last 5 sec's.

One last thing the end well how long did that want to go on for from the point where anikan burned up to the end (apart from the making of Darth bit that was cool) it just draged on. i know it had to be done but he could of made more happen or make it feel darker. It was like oh lets show jar jar at a funeral. Lets just briefly talk about how to become a force ghost but somehow the ghost that learns this didn't want to show them there and then. Oh lets show just a quick bit of Alderran and 2 people looking at the wee baby then luke going to his uncle and aunt (who was a bit fit and can't belive she turned into that woman in eps 4)

anyway sorry to go on but as some of you know i work at a cinema and i had to watch these bits about 30 times it got a bit boring after a while

I can put up with all the crap in all of the movies I George remove this one line by vader:
"NNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!"
It was just so out of character it wasn't funny he can scream before he puts the suit on but once the helmet on there is no screaming allowd, no exceptions. The corect ending for the film would have been Vader breathing for the first time, it was the best part of the movie and it tied the trilogies together nicely, but it just kept on going (like LOTR:3). I also thought the "She has given up the will to live line," was corny.

My thoughts exactly. Iwas sayin to my mates that they should have ended it either when vader took his 1st breath or when he rose us up on the table.
