Well if artillery were to be included, it should be more interactive instead of clicking a place on the map- it needs to be something you can command!

i dont think there is AI. But you can make them dynamic objects and script them to do what u want. They just wouldn't be able to respond to outside stymlus.

Like I said, what about on maps where there isn't air support? There weren't Y-Wings or TIE Bombers on Endor or Hoth.

Well then lets try to think of a common vehical that was in every battle.

No for Artillery:

Y-Wings
B-Wings
TIE Advanced
TIE Interceptor

Add to the list. Once we found a common unit or vehical, perhaps that could be scripted for artillery some how?

There is no one ship that was in every battle. For example, the only air vehicle on Hoth was a Snowspeeder, and there were no air vehicles on Endor.
