Id go along with most of what you said. ( Not the alien part though lol) . It  also looks as if the polar bears were real, with the cages ect in the latest episode. ( I quess that could be the aliens making them see them also but i hope not , even though lost is know for its plot twists and turns adding aliens would be ridiculous imo lol)
