Topic: Veteran system????

I'm confused how the veteran system is going to work.... when I get on 2142 do I put in my bf2 name then I'll get my new name or something?? I don't get it

so you dont have the game yet?...
you enter the EA account information you used to register at the veteran program.
you gain 1 rank (read about 10 global score) and have a red 2 infront of your name(s)
