Battlefield: Bad Company is being done for Ps3 and X360, which has an SP campaign and full MP, with destructible environments in both modes.

I expect the next Battlefield for PC will have a large SP component, and probably Co-op missions (maybe up to 8 a team or so). The setting? Possibly 2042, advanced modern kind of thing. Then they can insert "old" weapons like the M8 and (we still have AK47s).

Interesting requests. I also see EA going back to Battlefield: 2/1942 settings. I just wish some things from both would be combined, like being able to be on moving vehicles in Battlefield: 1942 (submergable ships/movable surface ships, etc.) and the squad based support from Battlefield: 2. How does this affect you: REMOVING THE RANKS (Yay, I hope). It may be just me that thinks this, but having to buy a server through "special providers" is idotic, especialy at the price they charge. I remember a good sized server, lag free for Battlefield: 1942 could be found for about thirty dollars a month. Now with the ranks, you can't since no one will play on anything but the 'official' ranked servers, which I'm a hypocrit to as well.

how about like Battlefield: Planet of the Apes. think of the possibilities! humans could make weapons out of sticks and the apes could have their primitive guns and horses....then theres the crazy people underground I think with bombs and stuff.
