Topic: wow

dang, I wasnt very active here on the forums due to school, so I totally missed out what happend to my thread..
Well, constructive critism is a good thing and do help, IF ur able to take it wink

And a little to my defense. Those textures aer NOT anything im proud of, but I had to show something. We didnt really have a bf2142 engine when we made our game you know.. Anyways, I know Im not the best texturer, but Im gonna keep fighting to be at least a good one. Im still new to it all, but as long as I think its fun, Im gonna keep doing it and get better.

Anyways, Im cool with the way my topic ended hehe and yeah, I can take critism..

I got some freetime after school (after trying out some Motion Capture smile ) so Im gonna work on my SF-test for the rest of the day, talk to you all later and thanks for the word!

Byebye for now

Re: wow

@closed topic: I want to say somthing: OK this texture work isnt that much detailed BUT you can not know how big the object is in game - the models look extreme low poly and could be small vechicles in an strategy game! The small vehicles look great then, you dont need to put more detail in it. (e.g. Battle for middle earth: The soldiers - texture looks bad in detail, but you dont recognize because of size of soldier in the game.) from far it looks perfect.

@sampson : And the wood picture: lol what do you want to prove? I think its easier to skin a "box" like this than Pumbaa's train in the other picture....

If you say it looks like a game in 1995 - then you are to influenced by the model style - the model looks very very very low poly and not very good - but you have to look at the texture only....

But you are 13... so its excused wink
