It would be cool to lower down a speeder bike though.  You could just use the code from BF1942 where you could lower the little landing barges down from the ships.

Hmmmm.... I have the book some where but it doesn't show you how they get them down. It's too tall to just ride off as well. Yeah, if it were to be implamented, I'd think that's the best way to do it.

I think the trouble with using the landing barge code would be that the landing barges weren't actually being lowered, they were just dropped, and the only reason they didn't blow up was because they were falling into water.  I'm pretty sure that wouldn't work with the bikes because they would be falling onto land, and with BF:2 physics, I think they would just explode smile

It would sort of be incorrect, but mabye have them come out of the hopefully huge Sentinals.

EDIT: I looked around and if they came out of Sentinel class transports, that would actualy be accurate. Take alook at the available cargo load these can carry:

Riding a speeder bike outta the back of a Sentinel is gonna be awesome.

As for dropping them from AT-ATs, I'm pretty sure it's possible to code it so that the invisible repulsor field underneath is part of the wehicle and invincible, meaning that you'd drop and the bootm, which is invincible, would hit the ground.

I see, that makes sense with the ATAT droppings, but if they implement this, I would hope that they would leave them out of Hoth, for the Endor shield generator, that would be awesome.
