Well the probe droid would be for the Empire only, I wasn't suggesting the Rebels use it. Hmmmm, a scout would be to obvious. What did they use to search for Luke with? Oh, a snow speeder. How about have one of those speeders flying high above? They can gain some altitude and it matches what the Rebels used in the movies.

Yeah, a speeder would be a really good idea.  Because they're so much bigger than probots they could be at a higher altitude so they look about the same size from the ground, so they don't get shot down too easily.

first Han searched for Luke with a scanner, then when he found them, he made something to protect them, then with a snowspeeder they scanned the field, I think Han already gave their position or something like that and then the snowspeeders just scanned the field

Well that's the movie. If it was a standard operation with out Han, they would've used Snow Speeders since that's the primary scout vehical. Besides, we can't have Han as a UAV because he is being implamented as a playable character.

don't know if the dev team has permission of Lucasarts to recreate persons from the movie

every mod team has to ask permission to even use the vehicles and such

They already have planned to use Jedi and special characters I thought? Unless I got Battlefront II confused some how.

Besides, after what happened with GC, the PR officer of LA came out and said they're starting to lay off mods because they realized it helps promote them.
