Re: Interesting idea

Would it be possible to make each kit put a different "Dirt skin" on the stormies?

Re: Interesting idea

Unfortunately (and fortunately tongue ), the soldiers don't have a texture system like that of the statics. If we wanted to add different skins for each class, which might be possible, it would mean that your computer would have to load and swap between the 32 textures (if we had different skins for each class) taking away from precious little memory allocated for such things.

Re: Interesting idea

Well not EVERY class needs its own skin. You could make it so theres just 2 different ones for each map... But not even that... Because for space they can use the plain white, water maps they can use pretty much plain white. you only need differnt skins for like 3 differnt types, Desert, Jungle and Ice. All others could be pretty white colored.

Re: Interesting idea

And by the way..this is the Imperial Army! Any Imperial Trooper who didn't keep his armor clean and shiny at all times would probably be severely punished! The Emperor wants his soldier to look presentable. Just a thought.. tongue

Re: Interesting idea

See ANH tbh.

Re: Interesting idea

Would it be possible to fake some reflections on the stormtrooper armor by adding an enviroment map on top of the polished white armor?
