Im sure alot of youi are aware of the Portfolios over at CGI Society http://www.cgsociety.org/

Heres one that caught my eye today, Katarina Sokolova

And for all you texture artists it might be good to have a little browse over, pick up some tips and techniques. I know most of the textures we are using so far consist of metallic and hard surface materials but its well worth a look at organic surfaces too for the future.

Woah, that's a great picture. The details, from the hair to the strands on the feathers, are amazing.  I hate to think about how long that would have taken.
