That'd explain why it didn't work for BF2.

Bounty-hunter mode: I get a flashback to Battlefront 2's obscure game modes where all the heroes went around cutting each others up. Pardon me while I go hide under my dog.

Since I heard about it on BF2S, i assumed it was for BF2 - that would explain a lot.
