Topic: Good way to model Hedges/Bushes?

Anyone have a good way to model a 3d bush or hedge?

For the life of me I can't ever get organics right in 3d but on paper I can easily do them. Ironically it's the exact opposite with architecture. On paper I can't draw a house worth scraw but on 3d I make Taj Mahals!

I can't really help you but, it's probably easier for you to model architecture because buildings are just cubes/spheres/cones anyways. Organic stuff is like... freeform.

If it's going into a game, the best method is to make a lot of planes connected to the base of the bush, and make an alpha map where the leaves are.

If this doesn't make sense, just look at the grass in battlefield 2. Walk up to it and look straight down.
