I'll rather buy X-Wing Alliance and download the TIE Fighter port I helped make for it than re-purchase TIE Fighter, actually. Not that I don't have the CD lying around somewhere.

I wish I picked up the upgraded versions of X-wing & T.I.E. Fighter back when they were released in '97.

As much as I love the X-wing & T.I.E. Fighter series, I have to say without a doubt that the Freespace series far surpass them in sheer quality and depth. Simply incredible games. Although I still prefer Star Wars. lol There were many things that the Freespace series did that the X-wing/T.I.E. sims should've done. hmm

Do you mean the Collector's CDs? or the X-Wing Trilogy versions? Cause the Collector's ones were very good - and the Trilogy ones very, very, crappy.
