Heh true, if one can't land correctly they shouldn't be flying. Would be cool to have them land and just grab anouther ship if their's is all beat up. Though in these kind of games there will be someone there ready to take theirs and get mad because it was messed up tongue

That would be cool but there is a problem. It's faster and easier to just jump in a new fighter rather then fixing up the one your in.

Lengthen spawn times for fighters and put a penalty on bailing. Also you need to make it easier to land and repair. In Galactic Conquest it was damn near impossible to land in the hangar bay of a frigate, and literally impossible to dock your TIE to the launch rack once you had launched it.

I sort of think it be a good idea to have a pilot class and for some top end things like fighters and AT-ATs be required to be that class, it would take some training to learn how to use those things so a stormtrooper couldn't just grab one and take off. Might reduce the camping for those things.

Are we doing launching racks? Since they're canon, I suppose we are. But you shouldn't have to re-dock with the rack.

For a rack just have a automatic landing when close, though be easier to just let it land on a pad. Dunno if there will be any solid space battles.

Project Reality went even further than that, and had these repair/support vehicles that only repair and support classes could enter. Those guys are incredible.

Thats not really realistic tho is it. Why would any vehicle only be unlocked for some people and not others? (unless its set in the future, where your vehicle has somekind of eye scanner or finger print analyser) ..sure some1 trained in using a certain vehicle would be better at it than someone who isnt...but to have a vehicle that picks and chooses who can enter it is ..well, unrealistic.
