Im all for having pilot classes having advantages when they use vehices. Stuff like extra agility and handling etc ... unfortunatly the BF engine doesnt allow us to do such things.

How about slow self-repair when inside vehicles? The disadvantage being you get the bad armament. That does leave you with less classes, but you can easily combine Support/AT using the 3-main-weapon setup.

Thats my point, if i remember our coders correctly, bonus' of any kind arnt possible.

How about put pickup kits by the heavy vehicles. Only someone who picks up the kit can get in the vehicle. So everyone else who can't will leave. Only put like 1-2 extra kits there and there wont be a bunch of people hudled in the hangers, and when the guy jumps out of his vehicle he wont have a rifle.

And you could make 2 types, one for tanks and one for pilot class... So a pilot cant get in a ATAT and a ATAT guy cant get into a TIE fighter. ATAT kits could have like a wrench to repair, and pilots could get a smoke or something, just to make them a little different. Both could have a knife and pistol as well. But I would imagine the ground vehicle guy would have a heavier pistol.

I think that would work out perfectly dont you guys think?

I'm starting to think this mod will need a reality mod tongue . Let FS be the way the devs want it before Bandu kicks us out, and then I or we mod it the way we want it and see how many play it. In fact, I think it'd be a very good idea. Except it'll probably never get finished.
