Topic: any SWG refugees?

I have always been a huge fan of StarWars.  I played swg for several years until I could no longer stand the way soe managed to ruin one of the most interesting games for me.  I switched over to BF2 and haven't looked back.  I am not a huge 2142 fan at all, I prefer BF2.  However, I think this mod will make my purchase well worth it.  I'm really excited by what you guys have done and am eagerly awaiting its release.  I am really excited about having battles in space and flying again! 

Good luck with the rest of your work your progress so far is inspiring!  I am more excited about your release than several other retail releases that are due this year!!

Galaxy refugee here myself. I miss it, but I won't go back now that the Jedi have taken over.

yep well sorta I only played 2 months during pre-cu but now I play the emu

I hated the game purely on principle for years and refused to play it (though I do understand that it started better and went to squeezey pooh). Then I got a 14-day free trail with Best of PC and started playing. And I loved it! Couldn't get enough! Specially space combat!

And then the trial ran out, and I didn't continue because game cards where ridiculously expensive and after I'd stopped playing it - and I looked back and --- it sucked. It was a horrible game.

Weird that while I was playing I thought it was great and after I left I realised it was awful all along.

Nope, I always refused to play SWG after I saw many people leave the GC community sad

But I am a WoW refugee... played that for roughly a year but then decided to stop because that game is so unbelievably boring and time consuming... But sometimes I still get small urges to go buy the burning crusade sad

you play the emulator?? please give me some details or a link to the download I would be interested in this, I didn't know it was live I thought it was in permanent development?
