Topic: Your Star Wars history.

I was about 5-7 years old when I was randomly exploring some cartoons from my livingroom's big shelf then I found this VHS cassette there was text in "Return of the Jedi" it was recorded from TV and or course I watched it. After that I noticed that we had some Atari game where you flew with X-wing and fought agaist ties and avoided asteroids . I don't remember that those were so importart moments for me, but that's how I knew about Star Wars.

Later when Nintendo 64 was released I played the best SW game(in my opinion, nostalgic value etc..) ever made "Shadows of the Empire" That was the time when I really got hooked up with SW. Then I got Original trilogy on VHS. I also get some action figures and small X-wing model which I still have, but I think my dog "killed" the action figures(not sure if Han Solo survived..).

Then came short dark age for my SW fandom. Phantom menace was released 1999, i didn't like it as much as older ones. It doensn't felt that much like real SW, which I was used to know. Then came episode two which was total flop in my eyes.

2003 if I remember right GC mod for BF1942 was released. I thought it was freaking outstanding stuff that time. It only included one map which was Hoth. But it still was something different and new and  somehow nostalgic at same time. That was when my SW fandom experienced some kind of reborn(thanks to GC mod). Then I began to gather all kinds of information about SW.

Last part of the SW movie saga was released 2005. I watched whole saga and all the parts finally found their place, "new" episodes didn't appear to be so bad anymore. Nowadays I'm here still playing SOTE(nothing can't beat it) and waiting for this awesome unique mind exploding mod which will take SW to the new levels. wink

Well that was mine SW history till nowaday. Please tell yours... smile

Re: Your Star Wars history.

Man, I was brought up with Star Wars. I have an older brother and he really got into Star Wars, so when I turned his age I had all these Star Wars books and comics and movies to go through (which I did go through.....)

Anyone here know of Xizor? Him and Jango Fett are my favorite characters big_smile
