Topic: Static Models

Hey guys,
I'm not looking for full time position at present due to family commitments but I'm up for doing some static models that you can use if you want.

What kind of things do you need for your landscapes?

Work examples: www.bfdreamland.com (Showcase, Ells)

I can also make Flash games, so if you need something to keep the fans ticking over until release, let me know.

Ells

Re: Static Models

Hey man, aren't you running your own mod? I see your posts in the editor forums alot so I know u are active in the community, I am just confused since I thought you were on a mod team. Let me know and we can talk some more. Thanks!

Re: Static Models

Hey Blitz,
I was running a mod based on a series of books called Dreamland by Dale Brown, but closed the mod down as the author wasn't happy running a mod based on BF2, as he is releasing a future game on a different platform (similar to Tom Clancy's stuff).

I have opened my forums for anyone to post their work to the community and am currently just doing some odd models here and there.

I used to be part of the old RoK team doing web and flash menu stuff and left just after Lex did.
Been floating around ever since learning more about modeling for bf2/2142.

Hope to speak soon.

Re: Static Models

Good to see you around Ells! Always nice to see the editor community members around. Shame you had to close down the mod. In the worst case scenario he would have sold a few more of his books, cause of you free advertisement. Go figure. smile

Re: Static Models

Hey mate,
Yeah that was my thought too, but I always said I would respect his wishes from the get go.
Fortunatley we only had a few concept maps to test out the coding we needed which was basically remote control flying of unmanned planes (basis of the books).

Oh well, onwards and upwards and on to better things that go bump in the night wink

Re: Static Models

Hey Xero,
I've been on the forums a while (12/22/2006 to be exact lol) reading through nearly all the posts and posting the odd thing here and there but I have a fair bit of spare time during work, so would like to contribute to this fantastic mod. Oh and did I mention I love Star Wars and even call my 13 week old twin boys wookies lol
