First of all, they do not need to hurry. When galactic conquest was made for it's predecessor bf1942, ArmA's predecessor OFP also was getting a starwars mod. Few people now play galactic conquest because it's old, very old (but still very very good with great sw feeling to it) and still OFP's starwars mod isn't done yet. They are going to convert it to the ArmA engine, but i doubt it will be finished anytime soon.

Take your time on this mod, as i am sure it will be great. I did a contest a long while ago where i could play the full game of BF2142 for free for 20 days. Somehow they forgot to disable it after 20 days, so i played for 3 months for free. After that i never played bf2142 anymore.

But now i see this mod again and bought bf2142. A great game imho, but to be honest i bought it just to play this mod. There are few good starwars games. And if this mod is just like Galactic Conquest or even better then we have a winner. The atmosphere and fun factor were darn good in GC, and i really hope to see it here too.

And from what i have seen now, the mod really lives up to my expectations.
