Then how would it be chosen who gets to be the Jedi and Sith for each team? Surely it would be rather difficult for them to code it to be an "unlock" like in SWBF2? Or is it an entirely separate kit that there can only be one person using at a time? Is that even able to be coded in BF2?

I just don't see the point in having one specific character used for a class. It doesn't work in a game like Battlefield where you play as Joe soldier.

Heydude, did you get into the gene pool while the lifeguard wasn't looking?

There is absolutely no sense in having the Jedi/Sith as commanders.  Commanders should be completely removed from the battle, Jedi/Sith players will want to lead the charge and poke people with their sticks.
