It must have been fantastic making that movie and I suspect many more Star Wars fans will make movies with this engine to make Star Wars fan Films.

What a truely great update. It makes me want to lock my S-foils into attack position.

The thought that is put into to this is a great example of how games should be created. Hopefully all of your great work will not go unnoticed and we might even see a professional gamestudio develop from this, like Splash Damage has for ET: Quake Wars.

Myself and the guys at <RT > can't wait for this to be released.

Keep up the good work.

Glad all you guys enjoyed it, indeed it was fun to make, you kinda felt like an extra on a Star Wars set there, waiting around sat in your starship for the bearded one to yell "Action!"

lol

Jim, we'll have to see if there is a way to adjust your tags over here without having to change your account, I'll look into it for you buddy.

OH MY smurfing hamsters

EDIT: The dynamic lighting from the lasers looks so good!  And the shot with all the ships heading away from the camera with the engines - the engine effects are movie-accurate yikes yikes yikes

Re: May 24th Update

I never noticed half of those things, Canadiens. Careless me.

Oh yay, I finally found some little detail to nit-pick tongue :

At :32, we see a TIE Bomber dropping bombs which apparently have an EMP effect. Wouldn't it make more sense for the bombers to fire anti-capital ship missiles? I remember that it was very cumbersome to have to fly over your targets to drop bombs in the Rogue Squadron games when it'd be so much easier to just let loose some warheads from afar.

I have no problem with TIE Bombers releasing bombs or clusters of thermal detonators over ground targets, but in space I'd prefer for them to have rockets.

No, they're explosive warheads alright, Proton Bombs. It's probably the fact that they glow blue which brought EMPs to your mind.
