Hmmmmm....

Having it as a 2D effect should work.  Also, the fog will help a lot.

I'm not sure if snowfall would be appropriate for hoth.  In the movies, wasn't the sky clear and blue during the attack?

One thing that I would like to see would be larger smoke effects on burning wreckage.  I think that that would add a lot of immersion to the battlefield if you're out in the trenches and three of the five AV turrets are billowing smoke and flame after being destroyed, there are smoking pieces of destroyed snowspeeders, but most importantly, the smoking remains of downed ATATs smile

Yes, I agree, more smoke wouldn't hurt. You are correct about it being blue sky as well. The only time we saw snow on Hoth was when Luke was out on his own.

Yeah, the sky was blue during the attack.

And having smoking AT-AT wrecks would be awesome.

but be aware of the lag, if u keep wrecks on the battlefield smile

maybe once an AT-AT is destroyed, don't let it respawn anymore smile
