Topic: GC?

Hey, I was just lookin around, and I've seen quite a few posts about "GC" What is that? I assume its a star wars related game, but I haven't quite figured out what it is...

I gotta go read the entire wookiepedia now...

Galactic Conquest is a splendid old Star Wars mod for Battlefield 1942. It pioneered several of the principles of FS, such as space combat. Five(?) of the developers and alpha testers testers of GC are now FS developers, but FS is not (on pain of angry FS devs) to be considered a sequel.

Ok, thanks...I had a feeling it meant Galactic Conquest but I had no Idea what that would mean...

And so basically, it the same idea as FS? Not to say you guys don't have any originality or anything. tongue

And do people still play it?

Anyway, I hope this mod comes out soon, I'd love to see a mod do better then a proffesionally, and officially designed game...*cough* Battlefront *cough*

(Again, not saying you guys aren't pros or anything...)

And luckily,(I suppose?) I didn't see Sev's original post...

Don't worry, I was joking. I'm referring to the people at Wookiepedia, who recently deleted the whole First Strike article on grounds of 'lacking notability'. Sorry.

GC? That stands for lesbian make-out party. It's basically the mod that Battlefront stole it's ideas from.

Kinda like how Dark Forces was made by LA because of all the Star Wars mods for DOOM.
