I noticed that my beloved shield apparently does no longer hurt infantry passing through it. Are there any other differences?

Re: Demo Trailer

Edit: Can you shoot at and destroy parked fighters in space maps, or are they shielded somehow?

Please don't have vehicles be able to take like 4-5 anti-tank rockets like they could in the GC mod. It made vehicles way over powered. Also a Turbo Lasrer should be able to rip both StarFighters, and dropships to shreds in seconds.

I was more concerned with how a droid could seemingly take an infiinite amount of punishment before blowing up. In the movies (once on Tatooine and once on Endor's moon) R2 is crippled by one single hit, while in GC he could take a pounding and barely notice it.

Re: Demo Trailer

One thing I'm seeing that I'm not too sure about is that in the space battle, it seems that when a ship explodes, the explosion stays in place when it should move in the direction the ship was traveling. Inertia won't stop just because the moving object exploded, the pieces will still be in motion (or at least most of them.

Just something that looks like a physics flaw that I noticed. I may be completely wrong though.
I just think someone should know.

Re: Demo Trailer

If you look at the movies you will notice that Tie's and Xwings blow up instantly. They turn into gasclouds through which other fighters fly.

It might not correct according to the law of physics, but if everything in the mod would be according to that law you would see massive changes that are not StarWars accurate.

i.e.: No sounds in space. Inertia flying (more in a battlestar galactica style). No fire in space.

Remember we are trying to get as close to Star Wars as possible and not real word physics.
